Church construction
We would like to raise $250,000 to rebuild 10 churches on the eastern coast of Sri Lanka that are still lying in ruins four years after they were destroyed by the tsunami. Sir Lanka, with 30,000 dead and 100,000 rendered homeless, was the second hardest hit nation by the tsunami. The eastern coast of the island is just 600 miles almost due west of Banda Aceh, Indonesia, which was the epicenter of the earthquake that caused the Dec. 26, ‘04 tsunami.
