About WHIF…
We set up Welcome Home International Foundation in 2005 to help administrate a home we were establishing in Sri Lanka for children who had survived the horrific Dec. 26, 2004 tsunami.
We gave the foundation as broad a scope as possible so that we could use it as a vehicle for other projects, not only in Sri Lanka, but wherever the Lord would lead us.
Our mission statement:
To care for the victims of natural or man-made disasters and other unfortunate circumstances throughout the world, especially for orphans, street children, widows, refugees, the homeless, prisoners, the poor, the hungry, the sick and the disabled.
WHIF is a member of the National Heritage Foundation, one of the oldest, most experienced, and most respected independent nonprofit organizations in the United States.
