Children’s Homes
Shelvi in front of house we purchased in 2005 on the west coast to accommodate children who had survived the tsunami. Sri Lanka, with 30,000 dead and 100,000 rendered homeless, was the second hardest hit nation by the Dec. 26, 2004 catastrophe. Eleven children are currently living here.
Here is the new home on the eastern coast of Sri Lanka that we’ve just begun renting to provide a refuge for vulnerable children…
And here are Shelvi and our happy kids!
