Escape from Kabul
Just released in the U.S. – the amazing true story of the miraculous escape in 2001 of eight of Greg & Shelvi’s closest friends and coworkers from the draconian dungeons of the ultra-fundamentalist Taliban in Kabul, Afghanistan. 
The eight Western aid workers – Dayna Curry, Heather Mercer, Georg Taubmann, Diana Thomas, Margrit Stebner, Peter Bunch, Silke Dürrkopf, and Kathi Jelenik – spent three and a half agonizing months in prison and without God’s miraculous intervention (with a little help from the U.S. Special Forces) they would most certainly have been executed.
